Saffron Records is an all female record label and music education platform based in Bristol. Established in 2015 as part of the Princes Trust Enterprise Scheme the label runs as a Community Interest Scheme.
Saffron Records are a young team with a diverse outlook on the industry, we work with young designers, artists, interns and apprentices that all work on campaigns that support our young artists. This environment is creative, supportive and focused, which can challenge stale ideals that are still loitering around in the music industry.
The artists development program supports a selection of young women aged 16-25 years old to receive artist development through a series of masterclasses, focus groups and industry days including conferences, networking events and training. Whilst receiving this additional support they will work toward releasing their music through Saffron Records. Eva Lazarus is a Patron for Saffron Records and supports our artist development program.
Saffron Records offer Music Production and DJing to secondary school age girls. We have a skilled and varied team of music based freelancers that will be offering schools across Bristol and South Gloucestershire our schools program.
We run our Saffron For Sound- Music Production and Sound Engineering course from dBs Music for young women aged 16-25.
We run masterclasses for all ages in Touring, PR/Marketing, Funding and more.
